DSJM Accounting Inc. is a Vancouver, BC accounting firm serving owner-managed businesses and incorporated professionals. It is deliberately small. When you hire DSJM, the person who reviews your file is the one you talk to, and you are not handed to a junior you never meet.
David Moon, CPA
David is the principal of DSJM Accounting. When you engage the firm, David is the accountant you actually work with — the one who reviews your books, plans your tax, signs your returns, and answers when you call. There is no handoff to a junior you have never met.
His background is what makes the firm different: alongside his accounting career he has worked in strategic finance and has run an operating business himself.
That operator experience changes how he reads a set of books. He has signed the front of paycheques, watched cash flow tighten, and made the calls owner-managers actually have to make. When he gives advice, it is grounded in how a business really runs, not only how a return is filed.
The firm reflects that. DSJM is built around proactive, year-round planning. The goal is to get ahead of decisions — incorporation, compensation mix, GST, cash flow — rather than report on them after the fact. And because you deal with the principal directly, nothing gets lost in a handoff.
